**Position Overview:**

Alley 6 Craft Distillery is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Tasting Room Associate focused on both customer service and assisting with production operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the craft distillation process while engaging with customers in our tasting room. The ideal candidate is outgoing, enthusiastic about spirits, possesses strong attention to detail and customer service skills, can command a room, and excels in a fast-paced environment. Hours are 10a - 6p Thursday - Sunday.

**Responsibilities:**

- Engage with visitors in our tasting room, delivering exceptional customer service and sharing knowledge about our products and production methods.

- Lead guided tastings and tours, educating guests about distillation history and techniques while promoting our brand and products.

- Participate in special events such as festivals, tastings, and promotional activities both on-site and off-site.

- Assist with production tasks, including milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling, and bottling under the guidance of our Distiller.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the distillery, following strict sanitation standards to ensure product quality and safety.

- Monitor equipment operation, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues as needed.

- Conduct inventory checks, handle raw materials, and assist with storage management.

**Qualifications:**

- Passion for craft spirits and a keen interest in learning about distillation processes.

- Strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

- Cocktail knowledge; making and speaking about a variety of cocktails.

- Previous experience in a production and tasting room setting, preferably in a distillery, brewery, winery, cidery, or similar industry.

- Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.

- Must be at least 21 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
